Jason, at Ingman Marine down in Port Charlotte, prepped and added fuel to a new little engine - and she quickly came to life. This 2.5 hp outboard 'kicker' is Yamaha's smallest make - and what Jason sweetly referred to as, the "Margarita Mixer".

In the upcoming months, I'll be putting some hours on this little 'guy' while strapped to the back of my canoe. Starting up north, along Florida's 'Nature Coast' from Horseshoe Beach - then heading south, down to the Ten Thousands Islands, exploring there, the backwaters of one of our state's most remote areas.
