auto upholstery shop

Went over to the upholstery shop today off Lime Avenue - old 'Ernie's' Auto Body & Trim - to see if he couldn't cheaply replace the front seat covers on the Ford truck.  Too damn expensive, so I'll have to get the interior detailed & scrubbed, so I'll feel like she's a new ride.  Though, there was some good stuff goin' on over there - and plenty to look at outside.

recurring bad dream

I wake-up in a sweat, tossing and turning.  Dream usually begins after moving to a new house - while leaving my old darkroom behind.  Where I had once spent, many a happy 'all-nighter',  processing all alone.  In that dream, with several on-going assignments, and still using black & white film - I have to return to that old residence, only to find that the darkroom has been dismantled or missing many of it's related parts.

So this morning, I went out there to make sure it all still exists - knowing that it does - but now, sadly as storage.

Why I don't attend rallies

In it's 16th year, Thunder-By-The-Bay is an annual biker rally held on lower Main along Sarasota's bay front.  This year, the local press referred to it as a "Vroom With A View".  This is what I saw .....
