Joseph & Disco

Knuckles and I headed out to the pet store, Petco for food.  There, we ran into Joseph and Disco inside doing the same thing - and where both pups eagerly got to smell each other, excitedly.

Outside, we noticed their vehicle with the New York plates, packed and ready to go. Apparently on the road again.

And, while Knuckles barked incessantly after putting him into the back of our vehicle, he truly wanted to get into their vehicle's, travelin' back seat.  And from across the lot, Disco was all welcoming ears - while both Knuckles and I found ourselves, just being there, truly envious.

Lawn Bowling etiquette?

The Brits are very particular, especially when heeding their own rules book. A rule, when broken, usually results in a good "talking down" - or sufficed with an immediate penalty or suspension.

Laws of the Sport of Bowls rules book (not my choice), stipulates on page 78, under "dress code", section 113.1 - "Footwear must be flat-soled and heel-less".

Spiked heels?  Somebody sure had a good laugh.

the dog and I share similiar annual visits

Today, we both got stabbed, pinched and provided that needed urine sample.  Seems Knuckles and I are both at the same status, which the vet, Doctor Smith, refers to as the "Healthy Club".  And funny, we're both about the same age.

Nico loves to cook, and shop

I can feel Nico's excitement from here.

Sandy couldn't pass-up a prized piece, showcasing one of Nico's favorite pastimes - cooking.  One grandma known to desperately please, Sandy had recently found "Pitter Patter", a used goods store, filled with an obvious collection of children's outgrown merchandise.

Now at two and-a-half years old, Nicolo, will soon be arriving for a family dinner, but not before this Grandma has scrubbed and polished that old, found new kitchen - and washed-up and dried all those added, shopped-for ingredients.
