Sandy's table

Nearly two weeks after a baby shower at our home, I still pass by my wife's table, left as a homage and an appreciation for her love of entertaining - and her candid sense of color & design.

Chosen theme "La Mer"

a little disappointed in myself

This past week I had an opportunity to do at least three profiles on some unique individuals that crossed my path. But instead, was more focused on my health issues - and the purchase of a new, used vehicle.

Then a day later, I came across this beauty - more my style, stole my heart.  I should have held out just one more day and made an offer.

this will be my 9th

Wilson, my youngest, and his sweetheart wife Silvana, recently came to town for a visit - a baby shower. Getting older and somewhat distracted, I didn't take any photos.  But, this will soon be my third grandson - with six of those other ones (kidding).

On their last day, Friday - Wilson took some great shots of Silvana at the beach - with this young lad due in mid December.

the Peach State

Eatonton, Georgia - hometown to "Uncle Remus".

Across the road, from my intended final destination - the Wildwood Revival.  Arnoldsville, Georgia

Arriving by late afternoon, my teepee camp site with it's own, existing large fire ant mound. The open barn in the background, was the site for this two day, southern roots music "revival".

early evening start-ups

late Saturday night, non-stop "pickathon"

by Sunday morning, the heavy rains arrived

Juliano enjoying the downpour, while my teepee gets soaked, inside and out

Appalachia's known "hippy poet" Bill Richardson, enjoying the Sunday morning Gospel Hour - and more than animated, from his own recital from his latest poem - "Holes in my Soles".

Andrea DeMarcus, of Cycada Rhythm, with her beautiful harmonies, while pluckin' on her stand-up bass.

Fans watching, listening to Cycada Rhythm over the din of the rain off that old tin roof.

Fresh "Flamin' Prance" peaches at a roadside stand in Oconee, Georgia.  Local farmer, Mr. Prance, is noted for his ideal soil and especially, for those good ph levels - producing his sweet, late summer peaches.
